With over 32 years in preschool education, I am committed to helping young learners transition smoothly into the school environment. My approach combines my extensive experience with a keen understanding of emerging trends in child development, ensuring our curriculum fosters holistic growth through innovative teaching.

I independently conduct wildlife workshops, especially focused on tiger conservation, to foster children’s love for nature and instill responsibility toward our environment. I’ve led these workshops in schools like BIS, Ascend International School, Cathedral and John Connon School, J.B. Petit School and DSB International, sparking curiosity and respect for our natural world.

I have led several creative writing workshops where children explore their emotions, develop self-expression, and learn to articulate their thoughts. Our workshops make writing a collaborative experience, where children engage in word-building, sentence formation and story development. The focus is on developing essential skills and building confidence in the children to be curious, to express their thoughts and feelings while having fun with friends.

I also work with Aanganwadis and Balwadis to develop play-based programmes using local resources and cost-effective materials, helping caregivers especially mothers engage in early education with their children.

Storytelling is at the heart of early learning. I’ve had the pleasure of hosting storytelling sessions at Kitab Khana and Oxford Bookstore, along with creative activities at the Kala Ghoda Festival, Asia Society-India Centre and Times Literary Carnival. These experiences foster a love for literature in young minds.

My vision for the White House Preschool is to create a welcoming space where both children and parents feel they belong.
